<p>These cookies help remember site preferences, understand how pages are used and improve technical performance. Where they process personal data and are not essential to the service, they are activated, as applicable, on the basis of your preference or explicit consent.</p>

The active cookie name, provider, purpose, type and retention period should be kept up to date based on the store’s actual implementation and tag inventory.</p><p>Because Shopify infrastructure or apps installed later may introduce new technologies, a cookie scan should be performed before publication and after each relevant app change.</p>

<p>Cookies may be session cookies deleted when the session ends, or persistent cookies retained for a defined period. The retention period for each cookie is determined by the provider’s actual technical configuration. The theme alone cannot identify every cookie used by apps installed on the store; the current inventory should be published based on Shopify customer-privacy settings and an independent scan.</p>
